Transshipment of coking and thermal coal is a key component of logistics in the raw materials industry. Metallurgical and Foundry Coke
The handling of foundry and metallurgical coke is an important part of logistics in heavy industry. Foundry coke, used in foundry processes, is characterized by greater mechanical strength and requires precise transportation to maintain its properties. Metallurgical coke, which is necessary in metallurgy for smelting metals, is handled in large quantities, requiring efficient logistics solutions. Loading of foundry coke onto a ship is most often done using loading baskets, which are then lifted by cranes and transferred to the ship's hold. This method allows coke to be moved quickly and precisely, while reducing dust and, most importantly, loss and crushing of the material. It is particularly useful in ports and terminals where efficiency and environmental protection are important.

Steel scrap transshipment is a key component of logistics in recycling, as well as in the steel industry. Steel scrap, transported mainly by sea, rail or truck, is transshipped at ports, terminals and storage yards. It is handled using heavy equipment such as hydraulic grabs, electromagnets, as well as cranes and reloading baskets, which enable the efficient handling of large quantities of material. It is crucial to ensure the efficiency of the process and the safety of the work, as well as to reduce material losses. The steel scrap handling process is controlled by our experienced VETRO employees. The transshipment of this cargo onto the ship itself is carried out using transshipment baskets. This process is designed to maximize the use of cargo space, improve transport stability and reduce the risk of scrap shifting during transit.
